The rollercoaster Chinese stock market has made many lose their life savings. 70-year-old grandpa Xu is one of them. He threw his whole savings into the stock market. Every day he wore red, signifying rising stocks in China, had beef noodles in the morning to encourage the "bull" market, and he even asked his grandson not to play with classmates surnamed "Xiong" (bear). Last week, his neighbor, grandpa Wang, dropped around to play chess with him. Wang tried to persuade Xu to quit the stock market, but an irritated Xu drove Wang out of his house. A few days later, the stock market once again suffered from a violent plunge. Realizing that Wang had wore a green T-shirt that day, the color signifying falling stocks in China, Xu grew red with anger and swung at Wang. Xu finally acknowledged his stupidity and made an apology. Perhaps he should listen to the advice of his good neighbor and quit the stock market. If you're going to try to ride the bull, you can't blame others when you get thrown off.
