Firemen located a couple three hours after they got lost while climbing the Jiankou section of the Great Wall in Huairou district on September 25. They were not injured, The Beijing Times reported.

The hikers, a man surnamed Cao and his wife, decided to return from their hike around 6 pm, but they could not find their way back and had run out of water, so they called the police. At around 11:40 pm, five fire fighters found their location by phone calls and location-sharing via WeChat.
