A 5.1-magnitude earthquake with a depth of 10 km hit Changning County of Baoshan City in southwest China's Yunan province at 7:26 p.m. on Friday, said the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).

The epicenter was monitored at 25.1 degrees north latitude and 99.5degrees east longitude, according to the CENC.
