Contemporary art exhibition Tomorrow's Party returns to the Orange in Taikoo Li Sanlitun from December 12 to 17 after a successful inaugural showing at the Beijing venue in 2014.

Themed The Future of Poetry Is with the Programmers, this year's exhibition gathers several young idols and artists including Chris Lee, OHO, Link, Li Jingxiong, Jonathan Zawada, Kim Laughton, Wang Xinyi, Sentinel and Oliver Haidustschek.

Tomorrow's Party is a pioneering art program initiated by EE-Media, which aims to gather idols, contemporary artists, and musicians to create artworks together, and reflect contemporary pop culture and society.

Christ Lee, a fashion icon and hit Chinese female singer that won many awards, including Best Artist award at the 20th MTV Europe Music Award, will cooperate with British CGI artist Kim Laughton and PC Music to create new works.

Young idol OHO, champion of the Chinese singing talent show Super Boys in 2013, will cooperate with Liu Yongqi and Wang Xinyi to collectively create artworks using mechanical devices and computer animations. In one released poster, Chinese characters are written in the style of inscriptions on bones or tortoise shells synonymous with the Shang Dynasty (C.1600-1064BC), which is another highlight of the visual effect.

"The exhibition itself is a media that opens more doors, allowing young people to build connections, integrate and create new powers," said Long Danni, the CEO of EE-Media.

The exhibition in 2014 went viral on social networks, especially due to the influence of hit young stars like Chris Lee and Hua Chenyu, creating millions of posts related to the exhibition. "It is the largest case of deeply combining pop culture and art, the hit of young fans' searching for those artists online are unprecedented. It became the most notable exhibition among young people this year," said art magazine, The Bazaar Art in 2014.
