On November 27, Denmark held a press conference at the Danish Embassy in Beijing to discuss how Denmark is fulfilling its commitment to fighting climate change ahead of the 2015 United Nations Climate Change Conference to be held from November 30 to December 11 in Paris. Danish Ambassador to China A. Carsten Damsgaard gave a presentation on Denmark's efforts to combat climate change and its long-standing ambitions to wean the country off its reliance on fossil fuel. After the presentation, a panel discussion with Danish energy and eco-friendly companies was held to discuss what kind of concrete green solutions are needed to reduce energy consumption and secure a more sustainable economy.
