Local authorities of Eijina Banner told the Global Times that these masked men broke into the inspection station in Malianjing at 3 am on Sunday, cut the station's electrical power, and destroyed the surveillance equipment.
The masked men then attacked the employees at the station with pepper spray, put bags over their heads and hit them with sticks. The gang also stole all the valuables at the station and drove two forklifts into the 800-square-meter building.
The whole attack lasted two hours and resulted in losses and damages totaling about 10 million yuan ($1.56 million). A total of 13 employees and some local farmers were injured in the attack, news site chinanews.com reported.
