A magnitude-6.3 earthquake jolted Western Indian-Antarctic Ridge at 0200 GMT on Friday (10:00 Beijing time), the US Geological Survey (USGS) said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 50.5751 degrees south latitude and 139.4469 degrees east longitude.
