The second part of modern dance performance Spring Equinox will be held on April 1-2 at the Beijing Dance LDTX theater.

During the first part of the Spring Equinox show held in Beijing on March 18 and 19, six choreographers staged six dance routines that were inspired by modern life.

Duo dance performance Gumbo, choreographed by Liu Yingying, reflected the feelings of falling in love for the first time, while Voice Along featured two dancers performing while inside a huge picture frame as they depict the many expectations their relatives and society have towards them and their future.

Dance routine Empty Room saw six female dancers representing the imagination of a woman sitting in a room, while Mutual, a three-part duo dance, brought in the Chinese concept of Yin and Yang to represent the shifting balance of a relationship.

The second part of Spring Equinox is scheduled to include five new works.
