Nissan Group introduced two new models at the Beijing auto show, stressing its effort to attract more young Chinese consumers.

The new models were the all-new Tiida and Maxima, which the company said will strengthen its product lines specifically for young consumers.

The all-new Tiida will feature engine and transmission enhancements, as well as improvements in safety performance.

It is also equipped with safety technologies related to intelligent driving, including Forward Emergency Braking, Lane Departure Warning and Blind Spot Warning.

The all-new Tiida will come with a more powerful 1.6-liter HR16DE engine, and an Intelligent Start and Stop system.

At the auto show, Nissan also launched its latest premium sports sedan for the Chinese market.

Since its debut at the Guangzhou auto show in November 2015, the car has received much attention, and with its official launch, the Maxima will attract more young Chinese elites, the company said in a press release on Monday.

Nissan also showcased the Nissan IDS Concept, which it said is a realization of its effort to achieve zero emissions and zero fatalities and a guide for its product evolution.
