JW Marriott Hotel Beijing launched a special summer event titled 100 Days Summer Barbecue on May 12.

There is no better way to spend a summer evening than with an outdoor barbecue. Roast suckling pig, whole roast lamb, and various kinds of seafood, including oysters and lobsters, are just a few of the delicious items that guests can choose from.

Free flow beer is also available so that guests can wash down their tasty meal with some of the best brews around. The professional bartenders at Asia Bistro have specially crafted summer cocktails to surprise guests' taste buds. From imported beverages to craft beers and an assortment of champagnes, guests are sure to find a drink that suits their fancy.

There are also live band performances. Black Diamond, one of Beijing's best foreign cover bands, performs every Friday and Saturday. They pack a soulful mélange of R&B, disco, pop and funk.

Another band, More Feel, plays every Wednesday and Thursday and delivers very powerful pop, soul and jazz sets.

"We are honored to host such wonderful barbecue delicacies in the dazzling summertime. It creates an unparalleled dining experience for the foodies in Beijing," said Richard Saul, the managing director of JW Marriott Hotel Beijing.

"In the upcoming 100 days, we will pamper [our guests] with freshly grilled meats, veggies, and seafood and an endless flow of beer and special drinks to help them better savor the tastes of this amazing summer barbecue with JW Marriott Hotel Beijing," Saul said.

The barbecue is family-oriented, and parents have the option of allowing their kids to romp in the hotel's playground, where staff will keep an eye on them while their parents have a happy and carefree dinner.

The barbecue is open from 6 pm to 10 pm six days a week, from Monday to Saturday.
