Beijing Administration for Industry and Commerce Haidian branch raided several electronics markets in the Zhongguancun area and seized many fake and refurbished electronic products, the Beijing Times reported.

The law enforcement officials checked all the computers, cameras, copiers and their accessories sold in the markets and found that a lot of them were fake. Many of the sellers collected used toner containers of famous brands and refilled them with cheap toner then tried to sell them as new ones at a high price.

The officials also found many fake products in packaging for famous brands and confiscated them. The officials confiscated more than 100 fake toner cartridges and 300 empty branded packing boxes during the raid.
