Frasers Hospitality Group, a division of Frasers Centrepoint Limited (FCL) on July 16 announced its collaboration with Japan's leading property and real estate developer, Sekisui House Ltd,  to build Fraser Suites Tokyo. Redeveloped from the existing four-story commercial building, Fraser Suites Tokyo will be a 23-story building with 223 suites. It offers a selection of spacious and luxurious studios and one-bedroom apartments, ranging from 35 to 60 square meters. Each fully serviced residence will feature living, dining, and bedroom areas furnished with international quality fittings.

"Globally, we aim to have a presence in the major gateway cities, and our entrance into Tokyo brings us one step closer to this goal," said Cao Bingsen, the CEO of Frasers Hospitality Group. "The capital of Japan and one of the world's most bustling metropolises, Tokyo presents an exciting milestone for us. Fraser Suites Tokyo is a significant addition to our established presence in Japan, and we hope to continually increase our portfolio in central Japan."

The leading real estate developer in Japan, Sekisui House, is involved in local and international housing developments, comprehensive urban commercial projects, and mixed-use developments. With a strong focus and emphasis on environmental sustainability, Sekisui House is a front-runner in incorporating environmental technologies into their developments, and the upcoming Fraser Suites Tokyo will be no exception.

Cao said the partnership represents an extension of the long-established relationship between FCL and Sekisui House.

"Sekisui House has a strong and reputable presence in Japan, and we are very confident about this partnership. Tokyo has witnessed robust market growth over the years and will continue to position itself as a key tourism, cultural and economic hub," he said. "Fraser Suites Tokyo is slated to open in time for the 2020 Summer Olympics. I believe it will further complement the vibrant business and leisure destinations within the locality."

Located in the premier district of Minato-ku, Akasaka, Fraser Suites Tokyo is close to prime commercial and residential developments and foreign embassies.

Centrally positioned amid Tokyo's main transportation hubs, Fraser Suites Tokyo affords quick and easy commutes around Tokyo and across cities.

World-renowned interior design company Hirsch Bedner Associates will design the interior of Fraser Suites Tokyo, which will embody touches of sophistication and elegance with evident traditional Japanese accents highlighted throughout the property.
