Yangmuzhazi is a small freight railway station on the Tangshan-Zhangjiakou line, an important line for coal transportation. Yangmuzhazi station is located in a remote mountainous region nearly 200 kilometers from Beijing and 70 kilometers from the nearest county town. Maintenance workers at the station work hard in rough living conditions. Due to scarce public transport, workers can only travel home twice a month. Photos: Li Hao/GT
