Before the winter chills set in, veterinarians visited Qingdao Forest Wildlife World to give the animals their health checks on November 21, 2017. Checks for Siberian tigers included a dental exam and a physical portion that tested their jumping and hunting abilities. The hippos also got their teeth checked, while the zoo’s ring-tailed lemurs were weighed and had their pulses taken. It was not reported whether the critters got a clean bill of health. Photos: VCG
