It seems the only being unaware that Marley is a sheep is… Marley. This shaggy pet in Cumbria, UK has made a name for himself by believing he’s a dog. The six-month-old sheep was orphaned and in poor health before he was adopted by Ali and her husband, Adam. But instead of learning lamb-like behavior such as eating grass and preferring the outdoors, Marley has taken cues from the family’s dog, Jess. The two go on walks, eat dog food, and sleep in dog beds. However, Ali now feels it’s time Marley started acting more lamb-like. She has adopted another sheep, named Bear, to help Marley adjust. “I knew we needed to get Marley a sheep companion, we want him to know he's a sheep and to be outdoors like a sheep - after all he's not very well house-trained,” said Ali.
