Editor's Note:
A burrowing owl tilts its head to stare at the camera curiously in Florida, US. Unlike humans, owls can't move their eyeballs, so to judge the distance and position of objects they move their head thanks to their flexible necks. Their necks enable their head to turn as much as 270 degrees around and look in almost any direction.
