Xiaopeng, a collector of tickets from scenic spots across China, has collected more than 800 tickets over the last 20 years since primary school. From plastic tickets in the 1970s to today’s paper tickets with anti-counterfeiting labels and IC card tickets, changes in China’s tickets show the history of the country’s tourism over the past 40 years of reform and opening-up.
