An exhibition and a play about the true stories of migrant women debuts at Ju Yin Theatre in Beijing on January 5. The script of the play is based on true stories of 27 women who were interviewed by the Mulan community over the past two years. These women have had multiple abortions and raised their children on their own, with limited help and support from their husbands. The goal is to help women, especially migrant women, make their voices heard and have their pregnancy and childbirth stories known by the world, said Qi Lixia, head of the Mulan community.
