Photos taken show local workers making nan bread in a factory in Kuche county, Northwest China's Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. The factory teaches local residents how to make nan and then hires them for an average monthly salary of 5,000 yuan ($724.7). A total of 8,000 to 10,000 nan breads are made each day in the factory and its two branches, some are sold across China through e-commerce platforms.
