To commemorate Dayu’s birthday, the celebration activities and culture and tourism festival was held in Miansi town of Wenchuan, Southwest China’s Sichuan Province on July 8, 2019. Dayu is a legendary hero who made a great contribution to flood control and resettled a large number of homeless people in ancient China.
