Edinburgh Festival Carnival took place on the opening weekend of the Edinburgh International Jazz and Blues Festival which commenced from July 14, 2019. The Carnival began with a parade of around 800 performers dressed in colorful costumes from around the world and this marked the beginning of the city's festive season.
