Highlights: A series of contemporary sculptures are exhibited at Beijing’s Imperial Ancestral Temple, where ancient emperors used to pay tributes to their ancestors every year. The exhibition, which kicked off on Saturday, features dozens of modern-day works of art by young Chinese artist Ren Zhe. These works are inspired by traditional Chinese 12 zodiac animals and ancient heroes like general Guan Yu during the Three Kingdoms period. The exhibition is slated to conclude on Friday.
