Goa, a state located in western India, will host the eighth annual BRICS summit from October 15-16, 2016. Having been a Portuguese colony for around 450 years, this eastern land still contains a distinct European flavor. Today Goa is one of the world’s most popular tourist destinations, and its prominent water sports scene draws in hundreds of thousands of tourists every year.
