Cao Youfeng is a veteran railway maintenance worker on Jiangsu's Xuzhou Railway, where he has been faithfully carrying out essential safety inspections for 36 years. He is one of thousands of ordinary workers who sacrifice their own holiday plans in order to ensure a safe trip home for the masses during the annual Spring Festival rush known as Chunyun.
