According to Ghana National Fire Service spokesman Prince Billy Anaglate, the "unusual incident" occurred as a group of high school students were swimming during a storm at the popular tourist spot in the county’s Brong-Ahafo region. A total 18 students died at the scene from the falling trees, while two others died in hospital, Anaglate said.
