Guide Pang Tianfeng leads Shaanbei storytelling performers through Yuyang district in the city of Yulin, northern Shaanxi Province. Behind Pang come Wang Hulin, Kou Bing, Liu Diansheng and Wang Santang. This team travels hours on foot every day performing in village after village.
The radio always accompanies Kou Yi, Wang Hulin and Wang Sanhu on their journeys through more than 100 villages in the 28 counties of Yuyang district, city of Yulin, northern Shaanxi Province.
The team is paid 300- 600 yuan for each performance.
