A training course for newly reincarnated Living Buddhas, including a visit to late Chinese leader Mao Zedong's memorial museum, was completed in late October in Changsha, Central China's Hunan Province.

After the Living Buddhas learnt about national religious policies and socialist core values at the Tibetan Institute of Socialism, they visited several revolutionary sites between October 20 and 28, including Jinggangshan Revolutionary Martyrs Memorial Hall in Jinggangshan, East China's Jiangxi Province and former residences of Mao Zedong and Liu Shaoqi in Hunan Province, the Xinhua News Agency reported on Saturday.

They also visited academies and companies including the National University of Defense Technology and construction machinery manufacturer Sany.

"It is the best time in the history of the Tibetan Buddhism. We should inherit and develop the tradition of loving the country and the religion, and make contribution to adapting the religion to the socialist society," said Living Buddha Jizhong from a monastery in Qamdo, Tibet.

The training course was jointly hosted by the United Front Work Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and the united front work department of Tibet.
