A woman riding an electric motor bike was hit by a falling goose that was being raised on the roof of a residential building and couldn't fly, in Southwest China on Sunday.

The woman in Qiannan, Guizhou Province was sent to the hospital and is reportedly in stable condition, according to a video posted by The Paper on Monday.

A security camera briefly shows the awkward goose fluttering from the roof and then slamming into the woman causing her to fall off her bike and slide into the parked car head first. The video posted by The Paper shows the goose flapping its wings and walking off. The video also shows a police officer holding the large bird while attending to the woman who is still on the ground.

Police say the owner of the rooftop fowl compound has agreed to compensate the woman for an undisclosed amount of money.

Many netizens said raising geese on a rooftop poses obvious safety hazards and should be prohibited.
