China New World Press's new book 40 on 40: Four Decades of Evolving Sino-American Relations will be published in overseas markets, the publishing house announced along with its cooperative partner, US publishing house Cengage, at the ongoing Beijing International Book Fair on Wednesday. 

The book marks the two publishers' latest cooperative project following the publication of English versions of Chinese books Fighting Corruption: How The Communist Party of China Works and The Chinese Dream: What It Means for China and the Rest of the World

"The two books help global readers get to know a rapidly developing China," said Alexander Broich, president of Cengage Global Businesses. This year marks the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the US. 

"The upcoming publication 40 on 40: Four Decades of Evolving Sino-American Relations will see 40 prominent professionals - 20 from US, and 20 from China - from politics and academia share their views on the evolving  Sino-American relations," he added. 

Former US president Jimmy Carter, US Ambassador to China Terry Branstad and Chinese Ambassador to the US Cui Tiankai and more "tell their stories of the relations between the two countries and share their insights into the history of development of US-China relations."

According to Li Chunkai, president of New World Press, with the help of international partners like Cengage, the publishing house has established 12 Chinese book editorial departments in 12 countries. 

The publisher also announced their latest collaboration with Arab Scientific Publishers in Lebanon and the Publishing House Fan Noli in Albania.
