Giant pandas born in Southwest China's Sichuan Province got a chance to romp in another of their natural habitats for the first time following a snowstorm that blanketed their playground at a zoo in Shenyang, Northeast China's Liaoning Province.

The pandas' keeper told btime.com in an video posted online that they deiced to let the pandas experience this year's first snowfall in the city and examine their reaction to the white stuff.

The keeper says the pandas stumbled when they were first released into their snow-covered yard, but the video shows them doing exactly what pandas love to do: Roll on the ground and munch a long twig of bamboo.

Studies have shown that pandas' colors  are a natural camouflage in their wild habitat that includes area where winter snow is common.

Chinese netizens admired the pandas' carefree life no matter what the weather might bring.
