Hungarian Embassy hosts signing ceremony

The Hungarian Embassy in China held a signing ceremony for Chinese and Hungarian enterprises on November 12. The Minister of Innovation and Technology László Palkovics presented the event and gave a keynote speech. Four business cooperative agreements in the fields of trade, investment and tourism were signed at the event.

In Palkovics' opening speech, he reviewed the strong relations between China and Hungary and briefed his great expectation for further cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).

"Hungary is one of the earliest countries that established diplomatic relations with China. In order to make a better use of this good cooperative relations between the two countries, Hungary launched some opening policies for consolidating the bilateral ties," he said.

"Hungary was the first European country that signed a cooperation document with China on the BRI in 2015. Hungary has started to understand the meaning of the BRI and its benefits for bilateral cooperation."
