More than 300 artworks from a number of renowned Chinese artists such as Qi Baishi, Huang Binhong and Zhang Daqian will go under the hammer at a Beijing Council auction on Monday. These items on auction include fine Chinese inkstones, stone seals, Chinese paintings and calligraphy works as well as other modern and contemporary artworks.  

According to a pre-exhibition held on Saturday and Sunday, highlights of the auction include Three Beauties by Chinese painting master Lin Fengmian and several paintings by Zhang Daqian, such as Paintings of Water Bamboo and Colorful Lotus.
