A Sri Lankan air force plane crashed in a tea-growing mountainous region Friday, killing the four crew on board, a military official said.

"We are still investigating the cause of the crash," spokesman Chandana Wickramasinghe Wickramasinghe said, adding that all four officers were killed in the crash at Haputale, 200 kilometers east of Colombo.
