A three-year-old child who had not yet learned to talk, started to speak following months in the hospital recovering from a fifth-story fall which he miraculously survived in East China's Nanjing. 

The boy's mother told Pear Video that one day in September she called police after her son had mysteriously disappeared from her apartment. 

Wang Xiangyi, a local police officer told Pear Video the child was finally found on a platform on the second floor of the residential building after he had fallen from a fifth floor window.   

The child was rushed to a local hospital and was recently discharged after four months of treatment. 

"What's interesting is my son started to speak after his fall," the boy's mother said after her son's amazing recovery from his near fatal fall. She later presented a silk banner to the hospital with an understatement that she is sure to follow in the future. "Parents must provide good guardianship of their children." 

"That's a miracle! But please do not imitate," said a Net user on Sina Weibo.

"What a lucky kid, this careless family is lucky to get a second chance," wrote another netizen.
