In China, it is a tradition to visit temple fairs during the Chinese New Year. From the north to the south, various temple fairs are held throughout the country. In time for this festive period, a new high-tech lifestyle exhibition themed around temple fairs kicked off on Saturday at the Manet Club in Beijing. 

The new Art and Life exhibition, which runs until February 28, is divided into six sections that examine and reinterpret the traditional temple fair. Hosted by the Manet Art Center and ALAB studio, the 500 exhibits on display cover technology, art and creative products. 

The opening ceremony saw not only speeches from Zeng Hui of Beijing Design Week and Wang Wei, founder of ALAB, but also piano performances and new media art displays. 

During the following month, different theme activities will take place for the Spring Festival holiday from salons and fashion shows.
