drought of TV dramas

(jùhuānɡ)

A: I've hit another drought of TV dramas again. All the US dramas I've been watching have stopped updating. Do you have any good dramas you can recommend?

(wǒ zuìjìn yòu jùhuānɡ le. zhīqián zhuīde jǐbù měijù dōu tínɡzhǐ ɡènɡxīn le. nǐ yǒuméiyǒu shénme hǎojù tuījiàn ya?)

B: I haven't watched any US dramas recently. I've begun watching UK dramas.

(wǒ zhèzhènzi méizěnme kànměijù, ɡǎikàn yīnɡjù le.)

A: I've tried watching UK dramas before, but I've never really been able to understand English-style humor.

(yīnɡjù wǒyě shìzhe kànɡuò, dànshì zǒnɡɡǎnjué yīnɡshì yōumò de xiàodiǎn wǒbúshì hěnnénɡ lǐjiě.)

B: I was the same way at first, but things got better the more I watched.

(wǒ ɡānɡkāishǐ yěshì, dàn kànduō le jiùhǎo le.)

A: I also don't really understand the English accents. I guess I'll keep trying.
