B: It's not even close to May and you are already thinking about the May Day holiday?

A: Last week I saw a notice that said the May Day holiday would be a five consecutive-day holiday?

上周好像看到通知说五一放假连休五天呢。

(shànɡzhōu hǎoxiànɡ kàndào tōnɡzhīshuō wǔyī fànɡjià liánxiū wǔtiān ne.)

B: Yeah, but with the pandemic going on, you can't go anywhere during the holiday.

是, 但这疫情期间,放假了也哪儿都去不了。

(shì, dàn zhèyìqínɡ qījiān, fànɡjià le yě nǎer dōu qùbù liǎo.)

A: It's always good to rest. Even if we can't go out for fun, we can rest at home, or go to a nearby park for a stroll.

休假总是好的。就算不能出去玩,也可以在家休息一下,或去家附近的公园转转。

B: I haven't been to the park in a long while.
