Beijing's Wind H Art Center kicked off a new group exhibition featuring 48 individual artists and artist groups on Friday as a continuation of the center's opening exhibition late in May.

Curated by Xiao Ge and Jonas Stampe, the exhibition When Speed Become Form - Live In Your Screen features renowned Chinese artists like Chen Wenling, Feng Mengbo and He Yunchang, who were asked to shoot short films between 15 to 60 seconds long using mobile phones, one of the most important necessities in today's society.

According to the two curators, the exhibition can also be seen as an experiment that seeks to reflect and react to the COVID-19 epidemic as well as explore a new way of life: going online.

Visual expression is at the center of the entire exhibition with additional installation works, videos, photographic works and performing art events rounding out the exhibition.

The exhibition is scheduled to run at the center until October 25.
