Police called to a net bar in Zhangzhou, Fujian Province on May 5 for a report of a “woman beating up a man” were startled to find that the angry assailant was a transvestite surnamed Ye who had been trying to cool his temper but flipped out after another customer accidentally bumped him.

After hauling Ye in, police said he claimed he wore long hair, makeup and dressed like a woman because he is so hot-tempered and violence prone that he had sought the advice of a fortune teller who told him cross-dressing would cool his nature because women have “softer” temperaments.
