
The largest-ever tourist service center in China was launched in Qufu City, the hometown of Confucius in Shandong Province on August 6.
Covering an total area of 200 mu (with the building area of 23,180 square meters), the Qufu Tourist Service Center has all kinds of services from selling tickets, tour guide services, transportation guides, and a tourist complaint service.
Tourist can also take shuttle buses to reach scenic spots in and around Qufu City from the tourist service center. It is expected to help 10 million visitors a day after the tourist service center is put into use.
Qufu is where Confucius lived, studied and was buried. So, most tourists go there in order to have a look at historical attractions related to him, like the Temple of Confucius, and Nishan Mountain.
