Chinese national soccer team winger Hao Junmin has completed his move to Bundesliga side Schalke 04, the German team confirmed on its official website Monday.
The 22-year-old has become the first ever Chinese player to play for Schalke in the German club's 105 years of history.
Hao, whose contract with his former club Tianjin Teda expired at the end of 2009, joins Schalke on a free transfer.
Hao's stunning goal earned China a 1-1 draw against Germany in a friendly match in Shanghai on May 29, 2009.
