China's national volleyball team lost to host Iran 3-0 in the final match of the 2nd Asian Cup men's volleyball tournament on Saturday.
China was whitewashed 25-18, 25-18 and 25-18 after the Iranian team had already defeated the Chinese 3-2 in the group stage.
In three other matches of the day, India beat Chinese Taipei 3-1 to rank third, Australia upset South Korea 3-1 to come fifth, and Kazakhstan defeated Japan 3-1 for seventh.
The Asian Cup opened in Iran's northwestern city of Urmia on Aug. 1.
