If you want to learn about Chinese universities, the campus buildings are a good starting point. Here are some campus records for China's universities.

The Guanghua building at Fudan University

The Guanghua building ranks first in China's university buildings for its height - 142 meters.

It is also famous for its twin-towers. Tall and straight, the two towers stand abreast like two guards. As there are no high buildings nearby, the Guanghua building looks even more outstanding against the sky backdrop.

The Teaching Building at Beihang University

The huge size is its greatest feature. The building is 226,000 square meters and cost nearly 900 million yuan ($133 million) over two and half years' construction. The building combines the elegant-style with the modern controlling system, and is the biggest single-body teaching building in any Chinese university.

The administration building at Beijing Renwen University

The administration building inherits the style of Lomonosov Moscow State University - elegant and dignified. As a European-style campus, the buildings look similar to those at Cambridge University in the UK.

The Red Mansion at Sichuan University

Designed by Liang Sicheng, a famous Chinese architect, the Red Mansion is a symbolic building for its combination of Western and Eastern styles.

The Beida Building at Nanjing University

This is the landmark building at Nanjing University. It features the traditional Chinese style and the western layout. On the top of the building, there is a roof bridge, actually a transfiguration of a Western bell tower.
