As the sun sets, the red lanterns are lit all over Lijiang and the locals start to sing. Love it or hate it, the nightly singing competitions are an integral part of Lijiang's nightlife. People who take part in the antiphonal singing gather near the waterside and happily sing to the opposite bank. In the town, a performance named "Dayan Naxi Ancient Music Association" attracts visitors from all over the world. The performance lasts for one and a half hour. The heavenly songs have an electric effect on the crowd.

It is regrettable that if visitors miss the bars at night in Lijiang. It is a little bit hard to choose which bar to go in this old city, because there are many and all are appealing. The Qinhuai River is the biggest river in Nanjing. It's also the birthplace of the age-old Nanjing culture. As such, it's called "Nanjing's mother river". The night scene in Qinhuai River is the best in Nanjing.
