Hawtai Motor launched its first self-owned B-class sedan B11 featuring gas and diesel engines Tuesday in Beijing.
The B11 measures 4,943 x 1,852 x 1,511mm with a 2,764mm wheelbase. The maximum power of B11 with a gas turbocharging engine could reach 118kW and 215Nm torque. And the diesel model equipped with 6-speed MT and 4-speed AT has a maximum power of 110kW and 310Nm torque.
The prices of the four versions of the B11 range from 119,700 yuan ($18,075) to 143,700 yuan ($21,699).
Hawtai Motor cooperated with Intel Corporation to equip the B11 with a 3G system.
"B11 is important to improve our brand image and cultivate a broader market for diesel sedans," said Liu Zhigang, president of Hawtai.
