German head coach Joachim Loew and the German Soccer Association (DFB) agreed on a contract extension until 2014, the DFB announced on Tuesday.
Besides head coach Joachim Loew, co-trainer Hansi Flick, goal trainer Andreas Koepke and team manager Oliver Bierhoff extended their contracts until Juli 2014 with the DFB.
"The harmonic contract talks have once again made it clear how great the trust is. I wish our national coach Joachim Loew and the entire management much success with his young and promising squad for the upcoming European Championships Poland/Ukraine and the World Cup in Brazil," DFB President Theo Zwanziger said.
Joachim Loew joined the German national team in 2006 after the World Cup in Germany to guide the team into the European Championship 2008 final in Austria/Switzerland and World Cup semifinal 2010 in South Africa.
"I am pleased that we were able to agree quickly to a continuation of the cooperation until the World Cup 2014. Hansi Flick, Andreas Koepke, Oliver Bierhoff and I have a lot of fun with this delightful task," national coach Joachim Loew said.
