The top 10 most attractive waterfalls in China were selected recently in Zhuji, Zhejiang Province. We have listed them below:
1. Yellow Fruit Tree waterfall

Approximately 60 km south to Anshun City and 137 km from Guiyang, Guizhou Province, the Yellow Fruit Tree waterfall has a height of 74m and width of 81m with a drop in elevation of more than 20 m. The water flows down to the Rhinoceros Pool, presenting a magnificent view. Around the main waterfall are more than 10 smaller ones, constituting a large waterfall group.
2. Hukou waterfall of Yellow River

The Hukou Waterfall, located at the intersection of Shanxi and Shaanxi provinces, some 400 kilometers from Xi'an, is the second largest waterfall in China. Its width changes with season, usually 30 meters wide but increasing to 50 meters during flood season. When the Yellow River surges towards the Hukou Mountain, blocked by mountains on both sides, its width is abruptly narrowed down to 20-30 meters. The water speeds up with increasing waterpower, and then rushes down from the narrow mouth, forming a grand waterfall of 15 meters high and 20 meters wide, hence the name Hukou (kettle spout) Waterfall.
3. Detian waterfall

Located in Daxin county, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, a subtropical area along the Sino-Vietnamese border, Detian Waterfall is the largest waterfall in Asia, and the second largest transnational waterfall in the world. The Detian Waterfall is over 200 meters wide and has a drop of more than 70 meters. Its waters rush down a three-tiered cliff with tremendous force.
4. Jiuzhaigou waterfalls

Locating in Nanping County of Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture of Aba in Sichuan Province, Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area is famous for its ancient and mysterious scenery. Waterscape is one of the most prominent tourist attractions. While rivers run across the whole scenic area, water torrents from the valleys forming thousands of waterfalls, which fall from cliffs covered with bushes quietly and are divided into numerous small streams. There are 17 groups of waterfalls, all of which are beautiful and full of power.
5. Three Tiers Spring of Mount. Lu

The Lushan waterfall group includes: Sandiequan Waterfall, Kaixian Waterfall, Shimenjian Waterfall, Huanglongtan Waterfall (Yellow-Dragon-Lake Waterfall), Wulongquan Waterfall (Black-Dragon-Lake Waterfall), Wangjiapo Double Waterfalls and Yulianquan Waterfalls. Its waters surge from Dayue Mountain. After a short distance of slow flow, it drops onto the broader stone in the middle and then dives at the bottom, thus being named Sandiequan Waterfall. Sandiequan Waterfall is known as "the best spectacle in Mt. Lu". Three Tiers Spring is located at the east of the Five Elders Peak.
6. Jingpohu Lake waterfalls

The Jingpohu Lake is located in the upper-middle reaches of the Mudanjiang River, Northeast China's Heilongjiang Province. The waterfall was formed in the late Glacial Period as a result of the rise and fall of the Mudanjiang River bed driven by new earth movements. It's not only the country's widest and the nethermost waterfalls but also China's only large collapsed-lava waterfall which is also rarely seen in the world. In the water-abundance period of the year, it creates thunderous sounds and presents white-foamy waves.
7. Jiulong cascades

Located at Luoping county, 230 kilometers east of Kunming, capital city of Yunnan Province, Jiulong cascades is one of the most magnificent sights in China. The cascades are scattered on a two-kilometer-long section of the river. Thousands of years' scouring and sedimentation have given birth to the ten terraces of cascades which vary from each other in height and width. The largest cascade, known as "No.1 Cascade of Jiulong", is 56 meters high and 110 meters wide. During the wet season, the roar of the cascade can be heard from several kilometers away.
8. Wuxie waterfall

Wuxie, located in Zhuji City of Zhejiang Province, is famous for its spectacular waterfalls. They, which are cascaded in five giant steps, flow down from the precipice. Thereafter the waterfall is known as "Wuxie", meaning "five waterfalls".
9. Liusha Waterfall

The Liusha waterfall, located in the western reach of Hunan Province, has been named "the most exquisite waterfall in China". With a fall of 216 meters, the waterfall can be seen from a far distance. The water plummets from a high mountain and then turns into pieces of water screen at the bottom. Walking through the bottom of the waterfall, tourists can enjoy the coolness brought by the water.
10. Baiguoshu waterfall

Located in Yiling District, 34 km north of Yichang City, Hubei Province, Baiguoshu waterfall has a height of 102 m and a width of nearly 60 m. It is one of the favorite attractions in the Three Gorges Scenic Area.
