Andreas Cichowicz is the TV editor-in-chief, news program manager and vice-director of the North German TV Station. Beginning in 1983, Cichowicz worked as an editor for many newspapers in Stuttgart after finishing his internship from 1980-1983. In 1989, he took charge of the News programs of the South German TV Station. A new opportunity awaited Cichowicz in 1991, when he began covering stories on South Africa as a journalist as well as serving as the manager of AED Fernschen (Das Erste) in Johannesburg. Moving on in 1994, he  covered reports on Arabic nations in Cairo for the Das Erste. A brief interlude in 2000 consisted of working as the editor of Panorma, a news review program, for the North German TV Station.
