Chinese won two golds on day 3 of the 16th Finswimming World Championships in Hodmezovasarhely in southeast Hungary on Monday.

There was a Chinese one-two in the 100m IM women's final where Xu Huanshan came first in 35.96 seconds, 0.13 faster than Zhu Baozhen.

Margaryta Artiushenko of Ukraine was third in 36.92 seconds.

In the 800m SF women's final, Liu Jiao clocked a winning time of 6:46.79, ahead of Iana Trofymets of Ukraine in 6:58.35 and Vasilisa Kravchuk of Russia 7:04.35.

In the 400m IM men's final, local favorite Denes Kanyo of Hungary surged to the gold medal with a world record time of 2:42.90 seconds.

Yoon Young-joong of South Korea (2:45.23) and Igor Saprykin of Russia (2:45.89 seconds) won silver and bronze respectively.

In the 100m SF men's final, Pavel Kabanov of Russia continued his golden form by winning his third event in three days. His winning time was 35.40 seconds.

Andrea Nava of Italy (35.76 seconds) and his compatriot Cesare Fumarola (35.79 seconds) finished second and third respectively.

In the 100m BF men's final, Russian Aleksandr Ivanets triumphed in 42.85 seconds, ahead of Andrea Rampazzo of Italy (43.27 seconds) and Dmitry Gavrilov of Belarus (43.28 seconds).
