Adjustment of Launch plan for Tiangong I

Spokesman of China Manned Space Engineering Project told that launch plan for TiangongⅠwas adjusted due to the unsuccessful launch of SJ-11-04 satellite. He also said that all tests of TiangongⅠtarget spacecraft and CZ-2F carrier rocket were going smoothly, and ShenzhouⅧ was transported to Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center on August 26,2011 in accordance with the plan.
 
Spokesman also explained the main considerations for the adjustment of the launch plan. He said that CZ-2F and CZ-2C, the carrier rocket of TiangongⅠand SJ-11-04 satellite respectively, belong to the same family. Investigation for the reason led to the failure is undergoing and the findings will have direct influence on the specific launch time of TangoingⅠ. In order to ensure the success of the mission, comprehensive quality reviews on all flight products for China’s first rendezvous and docking are under way in all systems of CMSE.
